IMPRM x FRANKS CHOP SHOP: “THE BARBERSHOP SERIES” (part 2) – RED

By Just One April 22nd, 2013, under COLLABS, GEAR, LIFESTYLE, VIDEOS

“Everybody is going to be watching us at the game, so you can’t go out there looking all rough…Red just comes up with great designs.” – Frank Gore (San Francisco 49ers, Running Back)

Mike Vasquez (or Red the Barber to his friends) is who we chose to spotlight for part 2 of “The Barbershop Series,” presented by IMPRM and Frank’s Chop Shop. Red has been giving cuts to some of the 49ers roster for years now; even taking a flight to New Orleans and making sure they stayed fresh on the sidelines for last season’s Super Bowl.

In part 2 of this series, Red speaks on being a barber for the 49ers and how cutting hair has been a humbling experience for him. If you’re in the Bay Area, you can get your cut from Red at Timeless Barbers – 16375 Monterey St., Morgan Hill, CA.

IMPRM x FRANK’S CHOP SHOP – THE BARBERSHOP SERIES

By Just One April 4th, 2013, under CELEBS, COLLABS, LIFESTYLE, VIDEOS

This past month, Imprm created a 3 part series with the help of Keane Dasalla, highlighting 3 of the most talented Bay Area barbers in the game. The stories ranged from their road to becoming a barber, to girl’s dancing on their boyfriends in the shop, to cutting Colin Kaepernick for the Super Bowl. This 3 part series is inspired by our collaborations with Franks Chop Shop who have been holding down the barber game as well as the fashion game.

In our first video, we spotlight Cedric Senica who gives us a glimpse of his beginnings as an up and coming barber and how he perfected his craft.
